Learn how to create a more compassionate & empowering educational experience for all autistic preschoolers!
July 14th-16th, 2025
Watch the video below to learn more about this 3-day virtual event for special educators, SLPs, and related service providers working with preschool-age autistic children.
Teaching practices for autistic students
have been rapidly shifting.
Staying up-to-date with neurodiversity affirming strategies and actually implementing them can be overwhelming, especially when you're already stretched thin.
You've seen helpful ideas on social media, but you're craving deeper training and practical preschool-specific guidance you can trust.
You care deeply about supporting your student's social and emotional needs, and you've been having important conversations about neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
But finding professional development geared towards supporting autistic preschoolers isn't easy.
Every new strategy or resource you find is exciting until you realize how much work goes into actually getting it into the classroom.
From learning the strategy (usually, outside of your contract hours) to training your support staff...it's a lot to keep up with.
You want a way to bring up to date neurodiversity-affirming strategies to your autistic preschool students without putting so much preparation time on you.
That's why I created the Preschool Autism Summit. You'll hear from 25+ speakers who understand the unique challenges of teaching autistic students at the early childhood preschool level and believe in neurodiversity-affirming strategies.
BY THE END OF THE SUMMIT YOU WILL...
βοΈ feel confident using neurodiversity-affirming, strength based strategies that truly support autistic preschoolers.
βοΈ understand key communication needs - including gestalt language processing, and AAC implementation.
βοΈ have tools to train and collaborate with your support staff so that you aren't doing it alone.
βοΈ replace outdated methods with current, compassionate practices you can start using right away.
βοΈ learn from 25+ highly regarded speakers who are educators, therapists, parents, and autistic adults who specialize in preschool-level autism support.
CHECK OUT THE INCREDIBLE LINEUP OF SPEAKERS YOU WILL LEARN FROM AT THE SUMMIT!

Uniquely Human: A Different Way of Seeing Autism
Presented by Barry M. Prizant, PhD, CCC-SLP
Join world-renowned autism expert Dr. Barry M. Prizant for a keynote that offers a paradigm-shifting, compassionate perspective on autism. Drawing from 50 years of experience, Dr. Prizant will challenge outdated views and debunk common mythsβsuch as misunderstandings around echolalia, self-stimming, and the idea of autism as a tragedy.
As the author of Uniquely Human (published in 26 languages) and co-creator of The SCERTS Model, Dr. Prizantβs work centers on honoring each childβs individuality and supporting them through their strengths and interests. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of how to shift from a deficit-based approach to one that is truly respectful and neurodiversity-affirming.
Live presentation with a Q&A on Tuesday, 7/15 for All Access Pass holders. Replay will be available for free ticket holders immediately after the presentation.

We are proud to announce that the Preschool Autism Summit is partnering with Lilly's Voice.
Lilly's Voice is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices to children.
Founded in 2021 and inspired by a young autistic girl named Lilly, the organization has already supplied over 380 AAC devices, empowering non-speaking children to communicate effectively.
When you upgrade to the All Access Pass, you will not only gain valuable insights and strategies for supporting preschool-age autistic children but also contribute to this beautiful cause.
A portion of the proceeds from the summit will be donated to Lilly's Voice, helping to give a voice to those who need it most. Join us in making a difference and supporting the mission that every child deserves a voice. ππ
